Admission Requirements
The student body at Waynesburg University is carefully selected. The college is primarily interested in the student who is thoroughly prepared for the academic challenges of college life and who has demonstrated the ability to benefit from higher education. In judging the qualifications of applicants, the admissions committee adheres to the following basic requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or evidence of satisfactory work at another college
  • Satisfactory grade point average and satisfactory rank in high school graduating class
  • The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I: Reasoning Test) of the College Entrance Examination Board or the American College Testing Program (ACT) is required of prospective students graduating from high school.
Recommended High School Course
For the secondary school graduate, sixteen units in academic subjects are normally required for admission to the college. These units should be selected from those courses that the high school recommended as the college preparatory program.
Admission Procedures
Applicants seeking admission may complete this online application form. The responsibility for the completion and the veracity of these forms rests with the applicant. The following credentials are required:
  • This online application
  • Official transcripts of all secondary and postsecondary schools which the applicant attended
  • Standardized Tests — Entering freshmen must submit scores from the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I: Reasoning Test) of the CEEB or the American College Test (ACT).
  • Additional tests. Waynesburg University reserves the right to test further any applicant. Students may be invited to demonstrate their ability in tests administered by the admissions office staff and recommended by the admissions committee.
Personal Interview
Waynesburg University believes that a personal interview with the applicant is highly desirable and every effort is made to arrange for one. The college invites all applicants to write and arrange for a visit and interview. Parents of applicants are also welcome.

How to Use the Waynesburg University Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
